Chief Technical Officer
Dr. Wolf Merkel has a degree in process engineering with a focus on „water technology“ from the Universities of Darmstadt and Karlsruhe. He finished his PhD thesis on anaerobic digestion at the University of Stuttgart in 1997. In 1998 he joined IWW, initially as water technology expert, since 2002 in his current position as technical manager. His current focus is on technical risk management and water safety plans, performance indicators/benchmarking and strategic asset management. |
