Microbial biofilms can cause numerous problems in process water, drinking water, clean water and wastewater systems. Our microbiologists and chemists are specialists in the detection and characterisation of biofilms, and we develop solutions to biofilm problems.
We sample your system and, if necessary conduct laboratory simulations using a wide range of established analytical methods and biofilm reactors.
One main focus besides the biofilms is the development of monitoring strategies for the risk analysis of microbial problems. Further fields of activity are the detection of microbially influenced corrosion and the technical hygiene.
